Girl on a Bridge
Girl on a Bridge is a photograph, made in Kyoto, Japan, several years ago, that I have been working on, first in color, but then in black and white. None of these worked for me. Recently I was "inspired" by some old family photos from the 40s, when black and white photos were occasionally hand tinted. Using more modern means, I took the B&W image, removing most of the original color, but "re-tinting" areas where I thought it most resembled the mood of the scene that I remember.
