This painting was done in pastel and colored pencil. I used Nupastel, Girault and Sennilier pastels. My inspiration was our youngest dog who is never still ! He is almost five and I had never taken a reference that really captured who he is. This was the one ! I am drawn to interesting light and shadow play and this one was a fun puzzle to work !
