I love the spring view of the mountains when the trees turn red and purple with new growth and just before the leaves bud out. Inevitably there is one last snow, the Robin snow, to remind us the winter is still close. That is what i wanted to portray in this painting. I used painsticks, acrylic paint, and Nupastels with many layers, some finger-painting, and lots of scraping and repainting.
